Nancy studied Dentistry at Cairo University, Egypt, and graduated in 1997 with distinction, to start working as a teaching assistant at Suez Canal University.
As she believes in continuous professional development, she has undertaken some post graduate degrees, including FSD at The Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) then MSc in Prosthodontics, while working as an associate dentist at some state-of-the-art dental clinics in Cairo for 10 years, before she decided to relocate to Australia. After passing her Australian Dental Board Qualifying exams successfully and securing her first job offer in Sydney, she met her husband and moved to the UK in 2009. Finally, she was awarded a degree and a Licence in Dental Surgery by The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011 and has worked as an associate in London for few years only to become a member of the Alma Smile team in 2025.
Nancy has a particular interest in Endodontics (root canal treatment) and cosmetic dentistry. Her approach involves always devoting sufficient time and care to ensure that every patient feels safe, listened to and looked after. She has treated patients from different cultures who have greatly appreciated her gentle approach and attentive manner. Her attention to details and a calm approach helped her communicate with and treat nervous patients. Being a perfectionist and a motivated team player, she has always received positive feedback from her patients, colleagues and principals over the years.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, they love travelling and swimming, or just watching a movie together as family time is the best time.Outside of dentistry, Nila enjoys keeping up to date with the latest developments in dental care and continuing to expand her clinical knowledge through professional education.
